Recycling Old Trucks: FedEx Converts Vehicles to Hybrids

FedEx is rolling out 92 hybrid-electric trucks to its delivery fleet. They're the first standard FedEx delivery trucks to be converted to hybrid-electric. Utilizing a particulate filter (which the older trucks didn’t have), these vehicles virtually eliminate the soot that the previous engines in these vehicles produced.
